Three Floyd’s Pride And Joy

This is another one of my original reviews done before my tastes truly developed. I plan to review this one again very soon because Three Floyd’s is right up the street from my crib… until then…

Pride And Joy is very much approachable by beginning craft beer enthusiasts. It will offer more flavor than your everyday light beers (much more) but won’t hop-bomb you to the moon either. This makes a great session beer for even the most seasoned of beer drinkers.

Full Moon Review

Blue Moon ( a Miller-Coors company) make Full Moon. In this older vid, you’ll see that the actual style is in question, but I can tell you that this ale makes a great winter warmer. It falls in the intermediate category but beginners may want to give it a try as well.

I’ve definitely had winter ales that I like better, but that doesn’t mean this won’t appeal to you. Full Moon is available in wide distribution so if you are looking for it, you prolly won’t have to go far.

Boddington’s Pub Ale Review

This is one of the older vids I did back in late 2009. My tastes and understanding and most of all, appreciation for craft brewing have changed a bunch since then…

Boddington’s Pub Ale Review. For me, this has a nice bosch pear flavor right up the gully-wash. It’s definitely approachable for those looking to expand a bit in their beer tastes. Plus, the widget in the can is kinda cool too.

Sam Adams Lager Review

I reviewed this one back in the older days of this blog before my tastes really developed… but in the vid, I tell a story about my first time trying it.

Sam Adams is a good, solid beer, but not for beginners IMO. I hafta say though, Sam Adams makes a lot of beers that I like a whole lot more. I plant to review many of them.
Again, if you are in a restaurant, you can more than likely find Sam Adams lager and it will never let you down.

Goose Island 312 Review

312 From Goose Island is superb. I liked it back when I did this review and I still like it today. If you are new to craft beers, you hafta pick this one up.

There is great citrus flavor in this wheat brew. I highly recommend you try it. My tastes have changed a whole lot since I did this review back in November 2009, but I still enjoy Goose Island 312 often.

Moylander IPA Review

This is one of the oldest reviews from “back before I evolved.” As I remember it, I wasn’t really too thrilled about Moylan’s IPA, but I went ahead and talk about as many positives as I could… because, after all, it’s a craft beer. It had a pungent evergreen push that was a bit over-the-top for me. Again, this isn’t to say it is bad, it is just something I don’t care for.
